Bridle Up Hope inspires hope, confidence, and resilience in girls and women by combining the healing power of horses with its life-changing program, The 7 Habits for Equestrians, with a vision to partner with 1,000+ barns worldwide.

Why Bridle Up HopE?

My cousin, Rachel Covey, was the inspiration behind my decision to support Bridle Up Hope through this golf tournament. Bridle Up Hope was founded by my uncle and aunt, Sean and Rebecca Covey, in memory of their daughter, Rachel, who tragically passed away in 2012 after a long battle with depression. Rachel had a deep love for horses, and in the midst of their grief, our family began hearing stories from young women whose lives she had touched by taking them riding.

One girl shared that Rachel and her horses had not only changed her life but had saved it—bringing her joy, peace, and purpose through the care and companionship of those horses. Moved by Rachel’s profound impact and the unique bond between girls and horses, our family established Bridle Up Hope: The Rachel Covey Foundation to honor her legacy.
